Disaster Alert: September 20, 2022

On September 12, three geological faults were activated in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. This, paired with heavy rains, caused landslides in the city. Homes and other buildings have experienced damage due to these landslides. To date, 30 participants and their families have been affected, many of whom have been temporarily relocated to shelters in the area. These families have already received food, hygiene kits, household supplies, and treatment at the local health center for cold symptoms. The Child Development Center (CDC) is seeking better temporary housing for some of the families, as needed.

Please pray for the participants and their families and that they will be able to restore their homes and return to them soon.
