Coventry City have had a disastrous 2016 so far that has seen them fall from potential automatic promotion candidates, to a position where the play-offs already look out of reach. Mowbray deserves credit for the progress his side have made after nearly suffering relegation last term, but with the squad he has at his disposal, Sky Blues fans will no doubt be very disappointed that this season now looks unlikely to yield the success that it promised a few months back. It's difficult to understand quite what has happened at the Ricoh Arena in recent weeks, but there have been a lot of players under performing for quite a while now, and this will concern Mowbray as his side now need to win the vast majority of their remaining games to keep faint play-off hopes alive.
