It's actually hard to tell who is happier out of the optimistic West Ham United fans, or the smug looking Arsenal lot we have in the Transfer Tavern this afternoon. That's because, according to the Sun, Gunners forward Theo Walcott is on the verge of a stunning move across the capital to join the Hammers this summer. By no means a bad player, the England international has invoked the ire of some of the club's support for his unconvincing performances and inconsistency. Still, the 26-year old is a seasoned veteran in the Premier League and possesses incredible amounts of pace. It is reported that Arsenal would be willing to let the former Southampton prodigy leave this summer for around £20m, a fee their East London neighbours are thought to be happy to match. Chelsea are said to have been interested, though Walcott himself is claimed to favour the Irons ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium next season.
