Compassion center tutors at a church in Togo noticed that many students were struggling in school. “It wasn’t out of laziness or lack of brilliance,” says Compassion Togo staff member Rosette. “They were lacking books that could help them learn and exercise their potential.” Thanks to generous partners like you, Compassion funded a library at the church. A crowd of students gathered on opening day — many of them seeing a library for the first time. In the year since, students’ grades have risen significantly. Thank you for empowering students to reach their God-given potential and to gain the knowledge that will help release them from poverty.
