Newborn Bundle

Just a year ago, 23-year-old Akouvi couldn’t afford food or a place to live in Togo. So when she and her husband found out she was pregnant with their second child, Akouvi considered abortion. But friends encouraged her to go to a local church. There, Akouvi and her unborn baby were registered in Compassion’s Survival Program. With the help of gifts like yours, the church provided Akouvi and her unborn child with food, doctor visits and other necessities. The program also taught Akouvi to make mats, which she sells for income. By the time Akouvi delivered her healthy baby, Elizabeth, she finally felt hopeful about her family’s future.
