Rescue From a Dangerous Situation

After 5-year-old Jean’s sister died of an illness, the pastor of his parents’ church accused Jean of being a wizard and causing the death. Jean’s parents began to abuse him, trying to force a confession of witchcraft. Thank God there was another church in town — one Jean attended for Compassion activities. When staff there learned of the abuse, they worked with local authorities to remove Jean from his home.
