Where Most Needed

A drought in Kenya has left millions hungry. Elia, 10, lives in a Kenyan town that hasn’t had rain for 17 months. “Animals are everything to us,” says his widowed mother, Eunice. “We get milk and meat from them for ourselves, as well as to sell to meet our everyday needs.” Because of the drought, the family’s livestock was suffering and the family lacked food. But generous supporters like you refused to let children like Elia suffer. Using gifts to the Where Most Needed fund, our church partner in Elia’s community began giving food money to families of children in the program.
