Every Day, We Help Children like Steven

Eleven-year-old Steven from Ecuador was brutally attacked by teenage boys near his home. He was captured, bound, covered in gasoline and set on fire. He ran to a nearby river and was able to put out the fire. But none of the hospitals in Ecuador were equipped to deal with the severity of his burns, which covered more than 65% of his body. Within days, Steven was brought to a hospital in the United States where a burn unit provided him with the care he needed.

Because of generous donors like you, over $500,000 was raised to help pay medical bills for him and other children facing difficult medical situations. It is estimated that he will need at least seven years of care, including counseling and physical therapy.

Overall, he is doing so much better, and his family is praising God for his recovery! They have been so encouraged by the prayers and support they've received.
