Hi, I’m 12-year-old Traynor, and I heard God calling me to give back. There isn’t a whole lot I can do, so I got creative!
But to pull it off, I’m going to need your help.
I hiked Red Rock Canyon Open Space on my birthday (Oct. 28). My original goal was to walk seven miles, but I ended up hiking 12 — one mile for each year I’ve been alive! I’m aiming to raise $10,000. I know that’s a lot, and some people think I should lower that goal. But after praying on the subject, I know that’s the right amount, and with your help, we can make it happen. If you can, please give, and remember what Acts 20:35 says, “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
I hiked to raise money for the non-profit Compassion International, and what you give will restore the hope of children in poverty, whether it's $5 or $500. Your donation matters!
Traynor is still working hard to meet his fundraising goal! Let him know if you have been inspired by his story and donate today!
